We went exploring a flooded creek armed with a dip net, cast net, and a fish trap to see what we could catch… and it didn’t take long before we ran into venomous snakes! Along the way, we found exotic African cichlids, bass, gar, and all sorts of invasive species hiding in the water. From dangerous wildlife encounters to rare and colorful fish, this was one of the wildest catches yet.
