Rockalina’s story has shocked people all over the world. After being kept on a kitchen floor for nearly 50 years and fed the wrong diet, she came to us in terrible condition. For months we worked to rehabilitate her, and just when it seemed like she was finally healing… her beak fell off.
In this video, we explain why this happened, what it means for her recovery, and how this unusual twist is actually a major step toward giving Rockalina the healthy life she always deserved.
But that’s not all—this week we’re also collecting baby diamondback terrapins from our egg box and preparing to release them back into the wild. And this year, we had some very special guests join us for the release.
