My daughter, Emma, has been BEGGING me for a pet snake for over a year now and for her recent birthday, I promised her I'd get her one! I did my research and found an exotic pet store 2 hours away, so we loaded up my Bronco and made the journey to get her either a king snake, corn snake, or milk snake. Well, jokes on me because we left with a ball python even after I told her no so many times!! After seeing the temperament and demeanors of the snakes in person, I felt like a ball python would best suite Emma and be the most docile snake for her. She is THRILLED and I am beyond thankful to have the help from well trained employees at Wild Things Exotic Animals in Middleburg, Florida. Thank you Addison for taking the time to show us so many snakes and get us fully set up! Emma named her new python Penelope and is calling her "Penny" for short.. I think it suites her well!!
