Dog training is not something you do once a week - as communication with your dog is happening very often. So in this video I talk about the lessons that may be necessary every time you go for a walk and the dangers of believing it is solely the dog's walk.
The lessons you could teach on every walk could be
How to put a harness on without upsetting a dog Getting your dog to wait before you leave the home Teaching your dog to walk to heel Training your dog to come back when called Impulse control around animals Teaching the sit and stay response How to greet other dogs To heel behind you off lead The release command Not to jump up and much much more.
Only once a dog has developed self control and is responsive in every situation is it then more the dog's walk because you have established who is making the decisions.
