After more than a decade of living and working daily with large groups of dogs, often 50 to 200 at a time I was asked by hundreds of people to speak on what happened with Rafi, Odin, and Pickles. Two dogs lost their lives. A young dog is now at risk of being blamed as well as the boarding facility. And a lot of dangerous advice is circulating from people who don’t understand pack dynamics or high stress environments.
I’m not here to attack anyone. I don’t blame anyone, nor the dogs involved... Especially since the information given so far, has been limited. What I do believe is that the full truth matters and that compassion and clarity are more important than outrage.
