Mavis the Rescue Dog has completed her 3 week residential training stay. Mavis was a rescue with incredibly loving owners who wanted to try and make up for the very hard start to life Mavis had experienced!
For Mavis the stay furthered her trust in humans as she was very fearful when they first collected her and she took a long time to trust us here too! Alongside this we began to teach Mavis the foundations towards working for and with her family and not being a solely independent dog!
Mavis has worked hard too on her recall and now with encouragement Mavis will more consistently come when called! For Mavis this was a big success and has also helped improve her response around dogs!
