Cesar helps Mary Jane and her Mastiff-Labrador mix Cujo who has a difficult past. Mary Jane suffers from a serious injury that causes her chronic pain, and the stress from her condition has transferred to Cujo, making him increasingly aggressive and overprotective. To start the transformation, Cesar changes the dog’s name from Cujo to Joe, explaining that the original name carries negative associations and causes people to feel anxious around him. Cesar then works with Mary Jane to release her own negative energy, helping her find calm and balance. As her energy changes, so does Joe’s, and together they transform into a peaceful pair.
Cesar also helps Molly, a Jack Russell Terrier mix who barks and growls loudly at customers who come through the art gallery that her owner manages. Cesar helps to fix the owner's anxiety which in turn helps to calm Molly's energy.
