Hello Everyone!, In this video, you are going to be learning how to train your puppy 3 of the most easiest, basic and important tricks: Sit, Stay and Come. These 3 tricks are very essential in your life as a dog owner.
Sit: There are two ways in which you can teach sit (choose the way which seems more easier for you). 1. Lure them to a sit position. Just move the treat to the back of your puppy's head while making sure that their nose follows the treat, they'll naturally sit to reach the treat. After you do this, say 'sit' and give the treat. Repeat until your puppy gets it. 2. Teach when they sit on their own. When your puppy sit's on its own, say 'sit', and give the treat. Repeat until your puppy gets it.
Stay: First, get your puppy to sit. Then, move a little back, and if they don't follow you, say 'stay' and praise them. If they do, then make them sit, and repeat until they understand not to follow you. Then take a full step back, increase then number of steps, and walk back. Practise this with more and more distance to make your puppy perfect at stay.
Come: For this trick, it would be easier if you use a long leash. Make them sit and stay, and then try to attract your dog towards you by making some sounds your puppy likes, or it's own name. If they don't come, use the leash to make them come towards you, but don't pull the leash hard and make them come forcefully.
